Meet the people behind the work.
Sam is the creative strategist at Beatrix — the ideas person, the big-picture thinker, and the one you’ll probably be emailing the most. She blends strategy, creative direction, and a love of good storytelling to help brands feel more like themselves (and connect with their people).
Clients come to Sam when they want someone who makes the process easy and genuinely fun. She’s known for thinking a little outside the box and keeping projects moving with warmth and wit.
When she’s not building brands, Sam is usually talking too much on her podcast, hunting for vintage, or trying a new breakfast spot, always on the lookout for inspiration and the best eggs benedict.
James is the creative doer at Beatrix, handling everything from editing and motion graphics to audio and whatever new skill he’s learning that week. With a background in game design and a curiosity for all things visual and sonic, he brings ideas to life with calm, steady expertise.
People enjoy working with James because he’s reliable, thoughtful, and easygoing. He’s the person who makes things look cool and come together smoothly.
When he’s not working, James is usually making something — designing video games, producing music, testing new recipes — or daydreaming of his would-be tennis career.
Beatrix is the namesake of Beatrix Creative and our ever-present studio companion. Sweet, snuggly, and quietly opinionated, she keeps the team grounded, usually from the cat tower perched next to James’ desk.
She’s brave, curious, and dutifully in charge of waking James up for work each morning. When she’s not “supervising,” Beatrix can be found inspecting boxes, chasing bugs, or pursuing her love of all things savory — olives, onions, and anything with a strong flavor profile.
Misho is the office personality hire and brings a lively energy to Beatrix Creative. Vocal, clingy, and endlessly entertaining, he keeps the team on their toes — especially around snack time.
A devoted mama’s boy, he’s happiest curled up near Sam, sleeping soundly through the workday, or loudly notifying everyone when he unearths an old toy from behind the sofa. When he’s off-duty, he can usually be found lounging belly-up on the couch, mid-zoomies, or rediscovering leftovers from breakfast with great enthusiasm.
